If you are a fan of Pawn Stars and I am, you will enjoy this quick read. Rick Harrison takes you behind the scenes of the show and the crazy antics of the people who walk through the doors of his shop in Las Vegas. He also walks you through his life and how he ended up where he is. For a tenth grade dropout Rick hasn’t done so badly with his life. The book is written in a very casual conversational tone. Just as he doesn’t hold back when telling someone that their prized family samurai sword is a fake, he doesn’t hold back when telling about his troubled youth, his obsessive nature, his love for reading and learning or his love for his family. The Old Man, Big Hoss, and Chumlee each have a cameo chapter as well.
